Why should I restart my computer?

Many of the common problems that result in a computer not functioning properly can be resolved by just rebooting your computer.

A reboot can do the following:

• Speed up your computer
• Fix any glitches form software
• Flush RAM memory and halts memory leaks
• Installs any pending windows update
• Restarts the Printer Spool 

In some severe cases, you may need to disconnect the power cord of the desktop and hold the power button for 35 seconds to clear any corrupt RAM data. 

Keep in mind that any electronic device can benefit from a restart not just limited to Windows devices.
